Building Technology

The Building Technologies Academy is a three year academy for high-school students.  During the first year, students are introduced to the building trades and earn their OSHA 10 Hour Safety Card.  Once they complete the introduction course, students then choose a specific trade to study further; either Carpentry, HVAC Technician, or Electrical Technician.  This academy participates in the construction of our Habitat for Humanity house. Once students complete this academy, they can become NCCER (National Construction Career Education and Research) certified.
