The Automotive Technology Program is for the student who wants to be an entry-level automotive technician. The focus of this course is on diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of automotive systems. Safety is always stressed and is a very important part of this program. Approximately 60% of class time is spent in the shop, or lab, area. The four core courses of instruction are:
Students will have the opportunity to acquire hours towards certification and be exposed to skills that develop positive work ethics. This course is designed for high-school, but if space is available, adult students are permitted into the program. For the costs associated with this course for adult students, please see below.
