Option Pathway

The Option Pathway is an alternate pathway to high-school graduation for qualifying students who meet the requirements for entrance into the program. Students in this program can graduate by combining CTE coursework with coursework in the core curriculum areas of Language Arts (Reading and Writing), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Option Pathway uses the TASC assessment to determine a student's mastery of the core curriculum subjects. Students in this program are accountable for their attendance, academic progress, and behavior.  They can be dismissed from the program for failing to meet acceptable standards in these areas.  This program is rigorous and demanding, rather than an "easy-out", and requires maturity and self-direction on the part of its participants. Students who are successful in this program will graduate with their peers.
