Testing for Entrance into our Programs

Adults wanting to enter our Career Technical Education classes need to take the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) and score at the 9th grade level (or above) in Reading, Mathematics Computation, Applied Mathematics, and Language.
This test is administered by the staff in our Adult Education (AE) Learning Center(Room 128) by appointment.  This service is free and all you need to bring is a valid, government-issued photo ID.  Valid IDs from states other than West Virginia are acceptable.
If you score below the required 9th grade level then you can take advantage of the free services offered at our AE Learning Center.  They will work with you to develop and implement a learning plan so you can prepare and retest.
